Design Consultation

The first free consultation creates a shared understanding of goals and desires for your unique landscape design.

By discussing your personal aesthetic, lifestyle, current garden dislikes and aspirations, together we identify the guardrails for developing a truly bespoke garden.

Step 2

Three measuring tools: a yellow retractable tape measure with inches and centimeters, a translucent plastic ruler with metric units, and a metal ruler with both metric and imperial units, all placed vertically on a white background.

Site Analysis

In order to create the most integrated design with your existing home and surroundings, a thorough site analysis provides critical inputs into the design process.

The site analysis includes:

  1. Inventory of existing on-site and adjacent property features, fixtures and character

  2. Assessment of environmental factors

  3. Developing property base plan including site measurements and grading to ensure accuracy of final design

Step 3

Designs Concepts

Two design concepts are developed which offer distinct layouts, planting and hardscape material options. A combination of sketches, digital plans and AI renderings help you visualize the design.

We meet to discuss and brainstorm the options and arrive at one design path to move forward.

Planting Plan: A digitally-rendered colored plan which displays all key features of the landscape design

Planting Catalogue: A plant image catalogue for easy identification of recommended plants.

3D Renderings: Either AI concepts or Google SketchUp renderings of the final plans

Tender & Install

I will tender your project to secure competitive quotes and help you make investment trade-off decisions (e.g. hardscape material selections).
